What to Grill

When you support local businesses it not only helps our community but also ensures that you’re serving the freshest and finest food to your guests.

Grilling Tips

  • Prep Ahead: Before setting sail, marinate meats and chop vegetables. This will save you time and make the grilling process smoother.
  • Safety Measures: Our boats are all outfitted with fire extinguishers. Know where they are and how to operate them.
  • Keep It Simple: Choose recipes that are easy to manage on a boat. Foods that grill quickly, like burgers, hot dogs, and kebabs, are ideal.
  • Use Foil: To minimize mess and ease cleanup, consider using aluminum foil to wrap vegetables or delicate fish fillets.
  • Let it Cool: Turn the grill off and let it cool before packing it up.
  • Stow it Away: Never boat with the grill still up on it’s mount. When cool, disassemble the grill and return it to it’s carrying case and stow it where you found it.

Enjoying Your Meal

Once your feast is prepared, it’s time to enjoy it with the backdrop of Lake St. Clair’s stunning scenery. Whether you’re anchored in a quiet cove or drifting slowly along the shoreline, dining on your pontoon boat offers a unique ambiance that can’t be replicated on land.
