Today we took delivery of our New Godfrey Sweetwater Pontoon and we think it’s the perfect platform for an unbeatable Mother’s Day.

The fine folks at Walker Marine made our purchase oh so easy. We first visited them just over a month ago and let me tell you, the moment we pulled up, we were impressed. In the middle of farm country is the most tidy boat yard you will ever encounter, complete with it’s own lake/pond (we call it Lake Walker) which is a great showcase and also practical for their water-testing needs. Full out test runs go to Lake Erie where owner Robert Walker personally lake tests each boat before delivery.

We love to support local businesses. All 7 of our boats were purchased from dealers within a couple hours of our docks and we used each of them for the complete outfitting as well. Each boat was rigged with all safety equipment and accessories at the dealership.

Even though this weather won’t seem to break we couldn’t resist putting the Godfrey in at our Puce River Harbour location the moment we got back. It was a quick lap to the Red Barn and back as the winds were brisk but this boat is POSH! Super comfortable, a smooth ride, plush seating… I mean, it really is Sweet… Sweetwater that is 😉

We think our boat is pretty special, but I have to say, if you take a ride to Blenheim to visit Walker Marine, you will be absolutely astonished at the impressive inventory that they have.
